PLEASE READ!! DEFINITELY something to think about and motivate every person in the United States and the world to follow all recommended guidelines. I certainly hope that history does not repeat itself. And today, because of how mobile and connected our world is, it could be worse! As we all know (or should be aware of), the 1918 influenza pandemic, known as the "Spanish flu," infected 500 million people worldwide and killed an estimated 20 million to 50 million victims. The number of deaths was estimated to be at least 50 million worldwide with about 675,000 occurring in the United States. It is know recognized that the fatal severity of the Spanish flu’s “second wave” was caused by a mutated virus spread by wartime troop movements (WWI). Today, if the COVID-19, were to follow this path and repeat this type of mutation and spread, world travel and interactions around the world, this could be a calamity that the world has never seen before! I have already read that the COVID-19, did already mutate during this course of our exposure. More reason to follow all of the recommended guidelines, when the quarantine is eased up. Scary!PLEASE READ!! DEFINITELY something to think about and motivate every person in the United States and the world to follow all recommended guidelines.
